Job Description

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the leading developers in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our Client is looking to hire an MEP Manager (Building) who will be responsible for assessing and evaluating consultants/contractors’ Building’s MEP designs and ensure that they comply with the client’s objectives, authorities regulations and agreed plans.

- Evaluate design consultants work, edit request for proposals (RFP) if needed.

- Supervise design changes and revisions to construction plans.

- Assess shop drawings for correctness and alignment with approved plans

- Organize and supervise the preparation and development of Building’s MEP’s construction plans.

- Maintain records and prepare reports related to Building’s MEP design.

- Oversee site inspections to check Building’s MEP projects progress, and to conform compliance with regulations and specifications.

- Review permit application documents, sustainability/environmental statements and strategies.

- Interview, assess the independent commissioning agents, review the deliverable and make decisions to optimize client’s value.

- Coordinate with the delivery team during the construction phase.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

- 15+ years of experience working in Building’s MEP

- Experience working for a Tier 1 developer\contractor\consultant.

- Previous GCC or UAE experience is essential, Abu Dhabi experience is preferred.

- Master’s/PhD degrees are a plus.

- Professional registration is preferred.

- Strong planning and organizing

- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and project management skills
