Job Description

• Spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive HSE strategies, policies, and programs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, aimed at minimizing workplace risks and enhancing employee well-being.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct thorough risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and recommending proactive measures to mitigate them, thereby fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
  
• Oversee the establishment and maintenance of robust incident reporting and investigation procedures, investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, and providing data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and prevent recurrence.
  
• Lead compliance efforts by monitoring and ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections, and interfacing with regulatory agencies as required.
  
• Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs, tailoring content to address specific job roles and hazards, fostering a safety-conscious workforce, and tracking and reporting on training effectiveness.
  
• Manage the procurement and maintenance of safety equipment and personal protective gear, evaluating vendor performance, and optimizing resource allocation to meet budgetary constraints.
  
• Champion emergency preparedness and response initiatives, including the development and testing of contingency plans, coordinating drills, and facilitating a rapid and effective response to emergencies, minimizing operational disruptions and protecting lives and assets.
  
• Drive sustainability initiatives by analyzing environmental impact data, setting sustainability goals, and implementing measures to reduce the organizations carbon footprint, waste generation, and resource consumption.
  
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing incident data, leading root cause analyses, and implementing corrective and preventive actions, ensuring that HSE performance indicators consistently trend in a positive direction.
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for HSE-related communications with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, management, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, effectively communicating the organizations commitment to HSE excellence.
