Job Description

Our client is a well-established international FX broker and online trading platform and as part of their growth in the UAE, we are recruiting an experienced client onboarding specialist to join their Dubai operations.

The role is responsible for onboarding clients by processing and opening new client accounts with a smooth KYC and CDD process.

Role Summary

Process new client applications and open client accounts in a timely manner ensuring internal deadlines and SLAs are met for client onboarding.
Amend existing client information with updated information and documents.
Validate client information and documentation with 3rd party electronic verification providers
Ensure that all KYC/CDD, client onboarding questionnaire and all other documentations are in place prior to the client acceptance process.
Ensure all KYC / CDD records are compliant with regulatory standards.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

5+ years’ experience in end-to-end client onboarding in the financial services industry.
In-depth knowledge of client screening, KYC, AML and due diligence procedures in FX, CFD, shares, indices, futures or financial services sector.
Working knowledge of sanction requirements, client risk assessments and suspicious activity reporting.

Education

Bachelor’s degree
Education from South Africa is mandatory.

Candidate Profile

Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Ability to work rotation shifts.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills for active engagement through email, telephone and live chat with clients who are being onboarded.
Strong client relationship skills providing an excellent customer experience throughout the onboarding stage.
