Main Responsibilities: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient production and service delivery Managing workshop staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and safety regulations Scheduling and coordinating maintenance and repair work to ensure minimal downtime Ensuring all workshop activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Maintaining accurate records of materials, equipment, and inventory used in the workshop Reviewing and approving work orders and ensuring timely completion of projects Developing and implementing operational procedures to improve workflow and productivity Monitoring and controlling the workshop budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources Conducting regular training and safety workshops for staff Troubleshooting operational issues and finding solutions to maintain productivity Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors for the procurement of necessary materials and parts Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in workshop or operations management, preferably in a technical or mechanical environment Strong knowledge of workshop tools, machinery, and maintenance procedures Skills Required: Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage inventory, equipment, and supplies efficiently Strong understanding of workshop operations and production processes Ability to develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency Proficiency in using workshop management software and other tools Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety standards Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
