Job Description

My client, a global IT consulting firm is looking to hire a Technical Lead in IoT devices. This role would work on some exciting products for the Telco industry based in KSA.

Job Description:

Must have Linux C, Python, Bash & Powershell Scripting and Embedded System development experience.
Should have good knowledge of IoT Communication standards, including IOT Devices, Edge, Platforms, Gateways & Security standards.
Should have knowledge of hardware & software Security standards such TPM, Secure Enclave, DRTM, IMA etc.
Should have knowledge of Embedded Gateways, Edge Computing, Sensor working and Industrial protocols such as Modbus, BacNet, OPC etc.
Firm grasp of message queuing, pub/sub and broker-based technologies such as ActiveMQ, MQTT etc. and other internet protocols based on REST & SOAP services.
Should be comfortable with the Linux command line interface & system level programming.
Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is highly desirable.
Experience with Git (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, VSTS, etc) is highly desirable.
Azure & AWS cloud computing experience is a plus.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidate should have the following.

Skills required:

Demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Having 4+ years of hands on development experience.
Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work well with other people in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication/articulation skills and ability to communicate to various levels in the organization.
Experience working on Agile projects.
Must be able to set priorities and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to act with a sense of urgency to user needs.
Willing to relocate to Riyadh, KSA - if based outside.

Note: It would be an outsourced role for a year and renewable.
