Job Description

Our client manufactures building materials and we are recruiting a UAE experienced supply manager to join their Ras Al-Khaimah operations. The role will encompass the entire gambit of supply chain from procurement, demand and material planning, inventory management, transportation, logistics and warehousing.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the entire supply chain operations in the production and warehouse areas.

Role Summary

Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity whilst minimizing wastage, time and costs.
Source new vendors and negotiate terms and prices.
Ensure effective S&OPs are in place.
Proactive management of aging and slow-moving stock to reduce dead stock.
Inventory management and periodic stock takes.
Build a strong logistics and warehouse team and foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
Lead and ensure health, safety and quality processes and initiatives.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics for local and international distribution.

Mandatory Skills & Experience Required

10+ years’ experience in supply chain management in the building materials manufacturing sector.
Strong experience in inventory management,
Performance management, goal setting, employee engagement, skills and capabilities building and career development.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to prepare cost analysis; prepare BOM and manage budgets.
Proficient use of MS Office.
UAE driving license is an advantage.

Education

Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
CIPS or ASCM certification is a strong advantage.

Candidate Profile

Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to work in Ras Al Khaimah
Fluent in English and Hindi.
Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Good command of English – must be able to read, write and speak good English.
