Job Description

Our client is a well-reputed aluminium fabrication and glass contractor and as part of their growth in the region, we are recruiting an experienced Arabic speaking specifications sales specialist from the building materials industry to join their Dubai operations.

The role will be responsible for new business opportunities through lead generation and established industry network of architects, interior designers, developers, consultants, main contractors, engineering firms and end users.

Role Summary

Meet with contractors, architects, designers, consultants to develop and strengthen relationships with architects, designers, contractors and consultants and owners.
Introduce the companys products and build a strong sales pipeline of projects to increase conversion and revenue.
Work with the project team to ensure optimal product specifications for architectural, engineering and construction projects.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

5+ years’ UAE experience in specifications sales in building materials, glass, glazing architectural metal to create the need for specified products approval and generate increased revenue.
Strong financial and commercial acumen with excellent negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of the construction sales cycle and architectural specification market.
Ability to learn technical products and their features and benefits and apply a consultative sales approach.
UAE driving license is mandatory.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Candidate Profile

Currently living in the UAE.
Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Fluent in Arabic.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication, and relationship building skills.
Tenacious, resilient and hunter type personality.
