Job Description

Our client, a leading investment management firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong background in corporate finance and accounting. You will be responsible for monitoring daily general accounting operations by managing and verifying the organizations financial transactions and ensure accurate financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise managing complex financial operations and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

What Youll Do:

Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile payment and receivable accounts

Oversee accounts payable and receivable

Assist in the preparation of tax and audit returns

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and laws is met and followed

Secure financial information by completing database backups

Stay updated on tax laws and regulations

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or related certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA is essential

A minimum of 4-5 years experience in accounting or finance is required

In-depth knowledge of corporate accounting, principles, and laws

Proficient in using ERP, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other accounting software

Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
