Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for cold calling a list of companies to secure sponsorships and encourage their participation in our events. This role requires exceptional communication and negotiation skills, a strong ability to build relationships, and a relentless drive to achieve targets. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our network of sponsors and participants.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cold calls to a provided list of companies to generate leads and secure sponsorships for our events.
  • Present the benefits and value propositions of sponsoring and participating in our events to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers within target companies to ensure ongoing engagement.
  • Understand and articulate the unique selling points and advantages of our events, tailoring messages to individual clients needs and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and tactics to maximize sponsorship opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Negotiate sponsorship packages, including pricing, benefits, and deliverables, to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and event management, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of sponsorships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in sponsorship sales, event management, or a related field.
  • Exceptional cold calling and lead generation skills, with the ability to establish rapport and persuade potential clients.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure sponsorships and partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented with a relentless drive to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
