Position Overview: As a Proposal Manager at  The company , you will lead the proposals and tendering process across all business verticals, ensuring high-quality, timely, and strategically aligned submissions. This senior role demands a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and commercial acumen. You will manage and guide a team of proposal engineers and interface closely with senior management, clients, vendors, and internal departments to drive business growth through successful bids.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Lead and manage the end-to-end proposal and tendering process for EPC projects in Water & Wastewater Treatment, Oil & Gas, and Municipal sectors.

·       Evaluate Request for Proposals (RFPs), RFQs, and tender documents to develop winning proposal strategies.

·       Review and finalize technical and commercial proposals prepared by proposal engineers, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company capabilities.

·       Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, engineering, procurement, project management, and sales for proposal inputs.

·       Define proposal timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities using structured proposal management frameworks.

·       Perform high-level technical reviews of process designs, PFDs, P&IDs, BOQs, and cost estimations.

·       Provide strategic input into bid/no-bid decisions, partnering with business development and executive teams.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to strengthen competitive positioning.

·       Ensure proposals are professionally written, clearly articulated, and aligned with client expectations and company goals.

·       Lead client-facing presentations and negotiations during pre-award phases.

·       Conduct post-bid analysis and recommend improvements for future submissions.

·       Mentor and develop proposal team members to enhance performance and succession planning.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).

·       Minimum 15 years of experience in technical proposal development, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

·       Proven experience in leading large-scale proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects (UF, RO, ZLD, STP, ETP, DM, MBR, MBBR, etc.) including EPC contracts in the Oil & Gas sector.

·       Strong understanding of process engineering, system design, budgeting, equipment selection, and costing.

·       In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements in the Middle East.

·       Exceptional project planning, coordination, and team leadership skills.

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interface with clients and senior stakeholders.

·       Proficient in prop osal software, MS Office, AutoCAD, and design tools for hydraulic and process calculations.

·       Costing knowledge in UAE & GCC market

·       Knowledge of SWRO (Seawater Reverse Osmosis)
