Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher for one of our reputed school in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student success. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instruction:
  

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
    
  • Teach a range of mathematics topics based on the curriculum, including (but not limited to) algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and probability.
    
  • Utilize various teaching methods and resources, such as lectures, interactive activities, and technology, to enhance student learning.
    
  • Implement formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
    

• Classroom Management:
  

  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
    
  • Establish clear expectations for behavior and ensure students follow the classroom rules.
    
  • Use proactive strategies to manage student behavior effectively and address any issues that arise.
    

• Student Support and Development:
  

  • Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and additional resources for those struggling or excelling in mathematics.
    
  • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset in students.
    
  • Motivate students to reach their full academic potential and foster a love for mathematics.
    

• Curriculum Development and Enhancement:
  

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the mathematics curriculum.
    
  • Ensure that teaching materials are up-to-date and relevant to current educational standards and practices.
    
  • Integrate technology and modern teaching tools to enrich the learning experience.
    

• Assessment and Reporting:
  

  • Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, quizzes, and homework.
    
  • Regularly assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
    
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and report progress to school leadership.
    

• Collaboration:
  

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the mathematics department and across other subjects to ensure interdisciplinary learning.
    
  • Participate in regular staff meetings, department meetings, and professional development sessions.
    
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
    

• Professional Development:
  

  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with current trends in mathematics education.
    
  • Participate in workshops, conferences, and other opportunities to improve teaching skills.
