Job Description

Our client is an international education services provider and as part of their global growth, we are recruiting experienced education counselors to join their fast-growing operations in Dubai.

The successful candidate will maximize the student base by responding effectively to leads and helping students secure admission and scholarships with the most elite US and Canadian colleges and universities.

Candidates must have Ivy League university counseling or admissions experience.

Role Summary

• Establish strong relationships with parents and students to identify and advise on appropriate courses and institutions for successful enrollment in Ivy League and prestigious USA and Canadian universities.
  
• Assist students with SAT and ACT TEST prep services and pre-college preparation.
  
• Assist adults with deciding the best options for higher education degrees and securing admissions for MBAs with US and Canadian universities.
  
• Work with students to secure university transfers.
  
• Process university and visa applications for international students.
  
• Identify new student application opportunities through networking and establish strong relationships with local schools and education institutions and international universities.
  

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ strong work experience in international student placements or counseling students for Ivy league university and college admission requirements, qualifications and application and visa processes.
  
• Proven experience of working in a target driven environment with a strong focus in converting enquiries into successful student placements.
  
• Working knowledge of UK, US and Canadian education institutions, admission and immigration requirements and processes.
  

Candidate Profile

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person, by email and over the telephone.
  
• Goal and results oriented with a customer engagement and sales approach and mindset.
  
• Ability to gain trust and counsel students.
  
• Detail oriented, able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  

Education

• Master’s degree from an Ivy League US or Canadian university is mandatory
