Information Technology Project Manager

Duration- 11 months (subject to extension)

Overview

We are looking for a senior professional with at least 10 years of experience in Technology, preferably someone who has worked as a senior manager in a large organization. The role holder should have extensive knowledge and experience in leading an IT department transformation particularly from a process, system and governance perspective.

The successful candidate should have experience in building technology / digital transformation strategy aligned to the business, reviewing and refining IT processes and ways of work, project management, designing and rolling-out Technology governance model, systems and communication plan to engage with key stakeholders.

The role will report to the Support Services Transformation Office, and will be fully responsible for overseeing the execution of technology transformation initiatives that support in improving effectiveness and efficiency of the technology department.

Scope of Work

• Lead the implementation of initiatives of the IT Transformation Journey of COMPANY in collaboration with the Technology Director, covering process, system, metrics & reporting, and stakeholder engagement dimensions.
  
• Assess and understand the maturity of the IT function and execute plans for areas that needs immediate improvement.
  
• Provide support to the Technology Director in building a technology strategy and identifying initiatives that support in improving Technology department positioning
  
• Support the Technology department in developing a standardized project management methodology, processes and by overseeing the implementation of tools, workflows and notifications to enhance visibility and transparency for users.
  
• Advise the Technology department in re-establishing the IT governance function by developing governance strategy, defining interaction model between IT functions and COMPANY sections / departments.
  
• Advise the Technology department in developing the  IT Enterprise  landscape by cataloguing applications/tools/systems, services and developing architectural blueprints.
  
• Continuously monitor and measure the progress of initiatives and ensure execution as per the set timelines and predetermined outcomes.
  
• Analyze post-implementation results, KPIs, Workflow processes.
  
• Develop essential capabilities that differentiate between a sustained transformation that show long -term results rather than short-term solutions.
  
• Document and monitor success factors across the Technology transformation project.
  
• Develop a change management plan, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships to ease the challenge of implementations.
