Job Description

Informatica Data Experts are tasked with transforming data into a format that can be easily Analyzed and utilized. The Informatica Data Experts works closely with other stakeholders to ensure the extraction, transformation, management & quality of data and the systems implemented

Key Responsibilities

Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
Create advanced mapping, mapplets, transformations, sessions, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter
Very strong knowledge of Informatica Data Quality transformations along with development rules for standardization, cleansing and validation of data in various formats
Very strong in implementation of data profiling, creating score cards, creating reference tables and documenting Data Quality metrics/dimensions like Accuracy, completeness, duplication, validity, consistency
Perform solution design, implement and support robust and complex MDM initiatives
Collaborate with source systems data steward, system owners and technical personnel for Data Governance and resolves any data quality or technical issues related to data ingestion

Requirements

Qualification & Skills

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Informatica Data Expert role
Preferred a master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
Certified Informatica Professional
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets
Experience with building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
Strong knowledge of working with Informatica-- Power center, Data Quality & MDM tools
