Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The industrial cleaner will be responsible for industrial cleaning; everything meets industry standards

and safety Overall responsibilities, delegated authorities and accountability Main tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.

● Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience

● Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace them when appropriate.

● Operating the cleaning equipment.

● Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

● Ensure that equipment and tools are safely and securely stored.

● Operate basic hand tools such as brooms, shovels, rakes, clippers, etc.

● Operate basic power tools such as blow hovers, scrubbing machines, etc.

● Cleaning of the industrial equipment. Communication

● Report all relevant information to the department’s manager promptly and accurately.

● Ensure effective and prompt communication at all times.

● Communicate and coordinate regularly with appropriate others to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of interdepartmental operations and activities. Specific Competencies Technical Skills

● Good knowledge of industrial cleaning and industrial equipment. Teamwork and Collaboration

● Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.

● Maximum flexibility due to the nature of work.

● Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment

● Excellent interpersonal and conflict handling skills. Communication

● Able to write,read and speak English is a must.

● English, Hindi/ Urdu and Arabic is a plus.

● Communicate accurately, correctly and verbally.

Requirements

Must have experience in Waste management on a Nuclear Power Plant
Minimum 4 years working experience in a well reputed organization preferably in industrial cleaning, oil & gas fields
Hold a relevant educational qualification from a well recognized and reputable academic institution fit for the required job function.
