Job Description

Our client is a well-established trading and distribution organization and as part of their growth, we are recruiting a UAE experienced HR Executive to join their Dubai operations.

 

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the role will be responsible for all aspects of Human resources from recruitment, onboarding, off boarding, employee relations, leave and absence management, visa administration and processing and staff accommodation.

 

Candidates must have 3+ years’ HR employee relations and recruitment experience with deep working knowledge of UAE Labor Law.

 

Role Summary

  • Provide advice and resolve employee disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence and employment related matters in accordance with company policies and procedures, UAE Labor Law and best practice.
  • Process offer letters and manage all aspects of employee employment visas and UAE Government requirements working closely with the PRO.
  • Manage employee onboarding, orientation and off boarding through to final settlement.
  • Develop HR policies and processes.
  • Manage health insurance for all employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR employee files.
  • Manage the probation and annual performance review process.
  • Prepare policies and employee handbook.
  • Manage the male company accommodation.

 

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Source and recruit employees.
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience as a Human Resources generalist; 3 years’ experience as a UAE HR generalist with deep working knowledge of UAE Labor Law.
  • Strong UAE recruitment, employee relations, payroll and performance management experience.
  • Sound understanding of HR policies and systems to drive employee engagement and business results.
  • Experience of working in a UAE wholesale, trading or FMCG organization is an advantage.
  • UAE driving license is mandatory.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live and work in Dubai.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi.
  • Aged between 30 - 35 years.
  • Male candidate – role requires management of the male accommodation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Capable of maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of employee information including salaries and benefits.
  • Smart appearance with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

 

Education

  • Bachelors degree is mandatory.
  • CIPD is a strong advantage
