About the Role

We are currently hiring on behalf of a respected educational institution in Al Ain, seeking a highly qualified and passionate Head of Mathematics Department (HOD). The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator, fluent in Arabic with strong English communication skills, and ADEK-qualified.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Mathematics department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
Design and implement effective curriculum plans and assessment strategies.
Mentor and support subject teachers in instructional delivery and professional development.
Monitor student progress and provide targeted academic support where needed.
Collaborate with school leadership to maintain ADEK compliance and academic excellence.
Organize regular departmental meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching practices.

Requirements

Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
ADEK-approved teaching qualification is mandatory
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics or related field
Proven experience as a Maths teacher(HOD) with leadership or coordination experience
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire both students and staff
Open to any gender
