Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager at RecodeWorld, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute revenue-generating strategies for our exhibitions and trade shows. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with clients and partners, and maximizing revenue streams. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and track record in business development within the event and exhibition industry and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the industry, including current trends and customer demands. Job Responsibilities: Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client segments. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential locations and sponsors for our events. Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor offerings accordingly. Client Acquisition and Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event and exhibitions venues, and industry stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and maximize revenue opportunities. Understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions to meet their needs. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets for exhibitions. Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the value of our services. Track commercial terms and financial deliverables. Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and track performance against targets. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, exhibitors, and sponsors to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and maximize revenue potential. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contractual arrangements. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution of exhibitions and trade shows. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, track revenue progress, and identify areas for improvement to optimize business outcomes. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development within the exhibition industry in Saudi Arabia Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in the exhibitions, events, or trade show industry. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and revenue generation strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, CRM, and event management software and tools.
