Job Description

Our client is a well-established premium brand food distribution organization who is currently enjoying tremendous success and as part of their accelerated growth, we are recruiting a UAE experienced brand development manager from the food services industry to join their Dubai team.

 

The role is accountable for developing and implementing new strategic brand initiatives that drive high quality distribution of protein products in target

accounts.

 

The brand development manager is responsible for building brand awareness, affinity and conversion to establish and grow HORECA and food services F&B accounts for new and existing protein products.

 

Candidates must demonstrate their capability in developing innovative and creative ways to promote new products with executive chefs, general managers and procurement decision makers in HORECA and premier food services brands within the GCC markets.

 

Role Summary

  • Establish and build long-lasting relationships with executive chefs, general managers and procurement decisions to drive brand awareness and sampling to increase volume and revenue of all products.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement go to market plans, strategic partnerships, new product launches and new sales promotions to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Develop campaigns to strengthen the brand presence and performance.
  • Key account management to review volume and revenue spend and promote new sales.
  • Produce management reports that reflect market test and success plans and customer insights through research and brand performance monitoring.

 

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years’ HORECA and food services sales, trade marketing, category and account management experience with well-established brands in the Gulf region.
  • Strong commercial, financial acumen in annual budgeting, volume and revenue and profit analysis
  • Data analysis capabilities for data driven decision making to provide competitor and customer insights and recommendations to enhance revenue opportunities and risks.
  • UAE / GCC driving license is mandatory.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong skills in building collaborative relationship and working well cross functionally.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results and being able to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
