Collaborate with the Chief Accountant to diligently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict adherence to GAAP standards.
Take charge of managing and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring their accuracy and comprehensive completeness.
Aid in developing annual budgets and forecasts while performing variance analysis to pinpoint primary drivers influencing financial performance.
Conduct thorough financial analyses to facilitate informed decision-making, identify trends, and proffer recommendations for enhancement.
Actively participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including executing journal entries, managing accruals, and overseeing account reconciliations.
Coordinate and provide support for external audits, ensuring strict compliance with audit prerequisites.
Identify avenues for optimizing accounting procedures and contribute to the formulation and execution of best practices.
Assist in tax-related activities, encompassing the preparation and filing of tax returns.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is advantageous.
Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Proven experience in a holding company, managing accounting and finance for multiple companies.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical prowess and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in both Arabic (native proficiency) and English (fluent).
Familiarity with the Saudi market is a plus.
Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
