Leadership in the development of strategic objectives and plans for the sector in line with the strategy, vision and mission at the level of the authority system as a whole
Overseeing the implementation and achievement of the strategic objectives and objectives of the sector
Directing the preparation, allocation and use of the sectors budget and exercising control over expenditures where applicable
Review all periodic sector performance reports and provide recommendations and guidance when needed to enhance sector performance
Monitoring key performance indicators for the sectors operations and staff and recommending improvements in line with strategic objectives at the level of the Authoritys system as a whole
Take responsibility for shaping the sectors workforce by determining the number of employees to be available and the ability to achieve the strategic objectives and plans of the sector
Support for professional development by providing effective feedback and evaluating the performance of employees in the sector
