Main Responsibilities: Analyzing and managing cost data to help control and reduce costs in the organization Preparing and maintaining detailed cost reports to assess the cost structure of the business Conducting cost analysis for various departments to identify opportunities for cost reduction Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and other related financial documents Maintaining accurate records of inventory, production costs, and other related expenses Assisting in preparing budgets and forecasts by analyzing historical data and trends Ensuring that all costs are recorded and reported according to accounting standards Liaising with other departments (such as production, procurement, and finance) to gather necessary cost information Conducting periodic audits to ensure cost allocation and cost control procedures are being followed Providing recommendations on pricing, cost reductions, and profit maximization strategies Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in cost accounting or management accounting Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CIMA) is a plus Skills Required: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Good understanding of cost accounting principles and practices Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Excellent communication skills for working with different departments Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Ability to work independently and as part of a team
