Job Description

Support Resident Engineer in managing daily construction activities on-site. Hands on experience on construction of major roads, utilities and traffic management.

Ensure Contractor's compliance with construction documents and regulations.

Assist in reviewing Contractor’s submissions (shop drawings, materials, RFIs).

Provide on-site direction and guidance for construction activities.

Supervise site inspection staff as directed by Resident Engineer/ARE.

Measure and assess work completed on-site.

Enforce safety standards and practices on-site.

Report project updates and issues to Resident Engineer/ARE.

Monitor contractor’s resource allocation and workforce productivity.

Assist in preparing and reviewing project close-out documentation.

Participate in health and safety initiatives as required.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum of 7 years experience

Prior experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC

Be fully computer literate and proficient in using technology to access data, maintain records, and generate reports.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Demonstrate strong technical writing abilities.
