Procurement of products in the relevant categories, managing periodic promotions, handle seasonal purchases and sales.
conducting competitor benchmarking for new product lines and pricings as per the customer mix of each store.
Maintain targeted operational margins across all stores, improve rental display incomes and rebates, obtaining promotional vendor support.
Negotiating commercial terms to provide better profitability in the assigned categories.
Acquiring new suppliers, nurturing current suppliers and maintaining a healthy mix of category representation of all brands and products across categories as per store needs.
Ensuring proper visibility and sell-through of the procured products, ensuring zero stock ageing, monitoring slow and non-moving stocks, maintaining optimum stock cover across all categories to support the stores in achieving their sales targets.
Requirements
Experienced in local procurement with organized retail companies in GCC (Qatar experience preferred) for a period of at least 5 years in one or more of the categories listed- Electronics,Sports,Toys,Office & School Stationary,Travel, Healthcare & beauty, Dairy.
Willing to relocate to Qatar.
Good communication Skills.
Requisite knowledge of MS office and ERP software.
