Job Description

Business Development

· Continuously review market opportunities in Oman.

· Take part in commercial negotiations with potential clients.

· Identify and source connection opportunities to The company existing Assets.

· Work with Projects and Operation departments to develop technical solutions for new projects.

· Build and review financial models for new projects and ensure The company minimum investment criteria are met for all projects.

· Review legal documentation on all new projects (in liaison with The company Legal Dept.)

· Produce analysis of risks associated with new projects. and Present new projects to The company concerned Committees

Project Finance

· Develop relations with banks operating in the region.

· Secure SPV project financing and develop hedging strategy for Greenfield and M&A transactions on a non/limited recourse basis to optimize capital structure

· Negotiate terms with lenders

· Review legal documentation on all financing documents (in liaison with The company Legal Dept.)

· Ensure all CS and CPs are met in order to draw down on loan

Policies & Procedures

· Follows all relevant Department/Unit policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

· Ensuring the organization adheres to legal frameworks in areas such as discipline & grievance, redundancy, and employment law.

Health, Safety & Environment:

Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in business administration, financial management, economics or a related discipline.
Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

4 - 8 years of relevant experience in either management consultancy, investment banking or corporate finance with a main focus on the District Cooling/Energy/Utilities/Infrastructure sectors preferred.
2 - 4 years of supervisory experience.
Development in sectors involving large capital investment decisions.
Project Finance experience.
Financial modelling experience.
Experience of closing Project Finance and acquisition financing preferred
