Job Title :- Business Application Manager

Location:- Dubai, UAE


ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East, with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality data content to its readers, viewers, delegates, and guests through digital, print, events, awards, video content, social media platforms, and social media influencers. These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper’s Bazaar, Construction Week, and Esquire.


The Business Applications Manager at ITP Media Group plays a critical role in managing and enhancing enterprise-wide applications and systems, with a strong emphasis on data management and financial reporting. This role requires leveraging advanced analytical skills to deliver actionable insights, optimizing the organization’s financial and operational performance. You will oversee the integration of business-critical systems such as CRM, ERP, and HRMS while driving data-driven decision-making and ensuring scalability and efficiency across applications.


Key Responsibilities:


Data Analytics & Financial Reporting:


  • Develop and manage robust financial reporting frameworks using tools like Power BI, Zoho Analytics, and MSSQL to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to create automated reporting systems that streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy.
  • Utilize SQL queries and other database tools to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets, ensuring high-quality reporting and visualisation.
  • Provide advanced analytics to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews, aligning with organizational goals.


Business Application Development & Management:


  • Lead the design, development, and integration of CRM, ERP, and HRMS platforms, ensuring they meet enterprise requirements.
  • Optimize system functionality to align with organizational needs, particularly in financial operations and reporting.
  • Customize and enhance ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV) to improve financial tracking, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.


System Optimization & Data Governance:


  • Oversee the integrity, security, and scalability of enterprise systems and databases, maintaining high standards of data governance.
  • Implement data quality controls and compliance measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial and operational data.
  • Design interactive dashboards to empower key stakeholders with real-time insights, enabling strategic decision-making.


Project Management:


  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for financial system implementations and upgrades, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Align project objectives with organizational financial goals, ensuring teams are well-equipped to deliver on expectations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless system integration and financial reporting capabilities.


Leadership & Strategic Guidance:


  • Provide strategic leadership in the design and implementation of financial systems, aligning technology with business objectives.
  • Mentor and manage teams to foster a data-driven culture, promoting best practices in financial reporting and analytics.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver tailored solutions that address financial and operational needs.


Data & Financial Analytics Proficiency:


  • Advanced skills in tools like Power BI, Zoho Analytics, and MS Excel to develop detailed financial dashboards and reports.
  • Strong SQL expertise for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data to meet complex financial reporting requirements.
  • Deep understanding of financial reporting standards and frameworks, ensuring compliance and accuracy.


Enterprise Systems Expertise:


  • Proficient in managing ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV with a focus on financial module optimization.
  • Extensive experience with CRM and HRMS systems to ensure data integration and financial reporting efficiency.
  • Hands-on knowledge of payment gateways and financial systems, enabling seamless transaction processing and reconciliation.


Leadership & Problem-Solving:


  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial systems and reporting solutions.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align data analytics and application management with organizational financial goals.


Project Management:


  • Skilled in project management tools such as JIRA, Zoho Projects, and Basecamp for efficient planning and execution of financial systems projects.
  • Expertise in managing projects involving large-scale financial data migration and system integration.


Requirements:


  • Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA) or equivalent in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s in Mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Certifications in financial and data analytics tools are a plus (e.g., Zoho Certified Developer, Power BI Certification).
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail in financial and operational data.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with stakeholders and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Passion for continuous improvement in financial reporting and enterprise data management.
