Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and commission BMS systems, including hardware and software components. Conduct regular preventive maintenance of BMS equipment and sensors to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in BMS equipment, field devices, and networks. Perform system upgrades, calibrations, and modifications as per manufacturer and client specifications. Monitor and analyze system performance, adjusting parameters to optimize energy efficiency and operational performance. Collaborate with other technical teams (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to ensure seamless integration of BMS with other building systems. Document maintenance and repair activities, and maintain accurate logs of system configurations and changes. Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all work activities. Essential Qualifications: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. Certification or specialized training in BMS systems is preferred (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls). Proven experience working with BMS systems and components. Skills Required: Strong understanding of control systems, HVAC systems, and building automation protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks). Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, control schematics, and technical manuals. Proficiency in using BMS software and tools for monitoring, diagnostics, and programming. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and proactive attitude towards system performance and maintenance.
