Collaborate closely with client representatives throughout the proposal process to ensure clients are satisfied with the quality of proposal workAssist capture managers in developing the strategy, win themes, competitive analysis, or gap analysis associated with a given proposalLead the preparation and delivery of all proposal volumes and other required proposal deliverables.Prepare a detailed proposal outline and define the proposal schedule from kickoff to final productionRun all proposal meetings, including kickoffs, daily stand-ups, and color team reviewsDelegate responsibilities and resources to proposal personnelIntegrate the efforts of all involved Technical, Management, Contracts, Pricing, and Business Development teams with Proposal Team.Issue effective proposal instructions and memoranda to proposal teamControl implementation of proposal strategy, including themes, discriminators, proof points, and ghost implementationWrite or assist with writing persuasive proposal sections, including management plans, past performance, technical approach, and resumesInterview SMEs with the ability to turn complex technical information into proposals.Engage in other responsibilities as identified internally or by clientsAssist with internal tasks or projects of your choosing during gaps in support of client proposalsRequirementsMust have at least 5 - 7 years of experience managing Government proposalsHistory of successful proposals worked across Government entities and a deep understanding of the logistics and operations of complex proposalsKnowledgeable in business development and the Government procurement processesStrong ability to organize material, rapidly assimilate information and provide guidance and direction to proposal teamsDemonstrated leadership skills and a commanding presence; excellent interpersonal and team skillsStrong oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, work independently and be a self-starterBachelor’s degree or an equivalent proven record of successful business development, and/or proposal management experienceExpert usage of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePointProposals sometimes require long or unusual hours based on the volume of work
