The main purpose of the Accounting Intern is to assist the accounting Unit in delivering their workload in a timely and efficient manner, such as corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as maintaining internal control policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage all accounting transactions and operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Payroll, etc.
• Develop and oversee budgets on the department level and project level.
• Prepare requirements with external CPA to issue annual financial statements in a timely manner.
• Manage and liaise requirements for financial institutions such as banks, investment firms, and financing companies Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Develop and oversee financial forecasts and reports.
• Prepare government reporting requirements, tax, and zakat filings.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Reporting to management and providing financial advice as required.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Assist with other accounting and finance related tasks as required.
Requirements
Academic Prerequisites:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
