Position VP - Business development Responsibilities 1 Responsible to develop freight business & vertical services such as Warehousing, Handling, Cross Stuffing, VAS etc. 2 Involved in deep selling process & Work out pre costing to give rates. 3 Manage budget and implement continuous improvement projects and performance metrics to improve financial performance & Compare pre costing with post costing for better understanding of freight business 4 Monitoring execution of the freight jobs for efficiency of both resources & time. 5 Streamlining the prospective customers based on the volume and trade lane. 6 Build network confidence and strong relationship with the customer & vendors. 7 Hire and manage team & Regular Client visits and follows up for the new business and retaining the Clients. 8 Filing RFQ to get the rates to make the business conversion. 9 Prompt updates to the customers within the time bound. 10 Following up for Payment collections. 11 Adept in identifying potential clients with focus on high volume and profitable business with expertise in deep sale process. Key Performance Indicators 1 Sales Revenue. 2 Customer retention. 3 New client base. 4 Net revenue collection. 5 Accountable for P&L
