Job Description

ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East, with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers, viewers, delegates and guests through digital, print, events, awards, video content, social media platforms and social media influencers. These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out, Arabian Business, Harper’s Bazaar, Construction Week, Esquire and GQ.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning, filming and editing videos for digital platforms. They should have a strong understanding of taking a brief, understanding the brand requirements and shooting short and long format videos. We are looking for a creative Videographer who has an eye and understanding of video storytelling. The Videographer will primarily be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Pre-Production / Post-Production Requirements:

Video production of interviews, events, vlogs, behind the scenes, podcasts, corporate initiative videos and series
Monitor all industry and social media trends in order to produce highest quality of video that our audience will find interesting and useful
Ability to edit high-quality, engaging video content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter) along with longer form videos for internal use and events
Knowledge and creative thinking for lighting, decoration and props set-up
Monitor and track the filming process and schedules
Familiarity with production equipment such as professional cameras (Sony FX3, Canon, CR5 or similar) and audio equipment (Shotgun mics, lapel mics) for preproduction/planning, in-studio and field production, lighting/grip experience
Understanding of computer software used for planning, editing and scripting
Ability to be creative and dynamic when editing footage in post-production
Operate and manage equipment before and after every shoot; keep all equipment in good working order
Ensure our standards are met, videos are cut to tell a clean, clear, visually engaging story

General Requirements:

Passionate about videography and creating digital content
Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and external individuals/groups
Work closely with Corporate Content Producer to ensure footage is captured, delivered on-time and clearly organised and labelled
Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail
Multitasking skills for working across multiple projects at once
Strong time management skills and the ability to be self–directed
Relative fitness and stamina to work long hours, if needed
English proficiency; Arabic is a plus but not essential

Technical Competencies:

Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro; Adobe After Effects is a plus
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft PowerPoint
Microsoft Outlook
