Job Description

· Maintaining up to date inventory

· Reporting accidents and Maintaining certification letters & training certificates

· Developing, conducting, and documenting appropriate drills &Conducting risk assessment

· Developing Personal Qualifications Standards Responsible for Operation, Maintenance, upgradation and Inspection records of the vessel coordinate with Outside agencies for – inspections, repairs, maintenance…

· Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the relevant vessel(s),including but not limited to

- Monitoring/Control of vessels speed & bunker consumption

- Monitoring/Control of vessels cargo intakes, bunker requirements, freshwater, Diesel, consumables etc

- Procurement of bunkers through the selected suppliers.

- Scheduling of vessels port stay, including monitoring of pumping performance to optimize greater turnaround time.

- Appointment of agents for vessel’s port, bunker calls etc.

- Updating of in-house Shipping operational system

- Operational procedures for vessels

- Evaluating Pre/Post Voyage analysis

· Recommend to the Team Leader/Manager(Comm Ops Department) on any operational procedures, which will improve the operation efficiency of the ships Assist in coordinating the dry docking schedule of the vessels in consultation with technical/Chartering/Operation Department.

· actively monitor crew change /plans of travels. - update travel requirements and ensure availability of valid crew documents
