Job Description

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a top-tier Transmission & Distribution company in Saudi Arabia. Were searching for an experienced T&D Project who will be responsible for overseeing the entire project, serving as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring project activities from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline requirements. The Project Manager is also responsible for handling various business development activities, risk assessment, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Role Essentials:
- This role demands a results-driven, strategic thinker with exceptional project management acumen.
- A strong understanding of regulatory compliance is essential.
- The ability to foster client relationships and drive business growth is crucial.

Key Duties:

Project Lifecycle Management:
- Handle the complete project lifecycle from the award stage to project completion.
- Plan and forecast project budgets and human resource requirements.
- Ensure project completion within specified timeframes and budgeted costs.
- Create and execute project work plans, adapting them as needed to meet evolving needs and requirements.

Engineering Systems and Compliance:
- Implement engineering systems and controls in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation related to design and construction.
- Monitor project progress and provide frequent updates to the corporate office.

Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with clients to discuss project details, contractual matters, and contract validation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of goods at the project site.
- Manage local procurement and payment-related issues.

Business Development:
- Conduct various business development activities, including studying upcoming projects, tracking competitor information, promoting the companys business, visiting potential clients, and forming strategic alliances in the country.

Strategic Insights:
- Provide insights to the Head Office on strategic regional issues.
- Interact with local bodies and political parties to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Claims Management:
- Handle construction-related claims (change of scope) and manage them until realization.


Requirements

- 15 to 20+ years of specialized experience in Transmission & Distribution.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Willingness to travel less than 10%.
- Excellent team leadership and a strong sense of accountability.
- Strong project management skills.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, construction methods and technology, contract management, and finance.
- Contract, scope, and time management skills.
- Customer relationship management skills.
