Job Description

Basic Function: Apply expert knowledge of tax compliance requirements and procedures in GCC
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and entering financial data into tax software or spreadsheets
- Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings
- Prepare and maintain documentation, such as schedules and workpapers, to support tax filings and compliance efforts
- Support Tax Manager and Finance Head in developing and implementing tax planning strategies
- Analyze financial data to identify potential tax implications and assist in making informed decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and complete tax reporting
- Provide support during tax audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and helping to resolve issues
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant information to the tax team and other stakeholders
- Participate in period-end closing activities, particularly in processing tax records and performing reconciliations
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining records

Requirements

Qualified CA/ACCA who has 2-3 relevant UAE experience
Possess Strong technical knowledge regarding UAE and GCC Tax Laws
Expertise in tax returns, preparation and finalization for tax audits
Knowledge of IFRS, local statutory laws and regulations/implications
Be self-motivated and a problem solver
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills
Team player
Knowledgeable Oracle System
