Job Description

Are you a hands-on tech professional who thrives on keeping critical systems up and running? Do you enjoy solving technical puzzles and ensuring smooth operations every day? If yes, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for an experienced System Technician to provide comprehensive system support, ensure proactive issue resolution, and maintain the highest standards across infrastructure, hardware, and network systems.

Your Mission:

Deliver L1 & L2 level administration support to ensure seamless IT operations.
Troubleshoot networks, manage private cloud infrastructure, and perform centralized system backups.
Assist in the setup, installation, and maintenance of servers and network components across main and remote sites.
Support the system engineer in maintaining office systems, hardware, and equipment.
Respond to Helpdesk tickets and carry out preventive maintenance checks.
Monitor server and application logs, report issues, and ensure systems run smoothly.
Assist in restoring system services and minimizing downtime.
Provide technical assistance to ensure smooth daily operations and an uninterrupted workflow.
Conduct regular equipment tests to detect and recommend replacements as needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Information Technology.
8–10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within retail automation or similar sectors.
Expertise in PC hardware, network configurations, and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
Hands-on experience with Windows 10, Windows Server, POS systems, fuel dispensers, ATG, and site controllers.
Experience with serial communication protocols and industrial electricity standards.
Background in oil & gas environments is highly desirable.
Arabic speaker with strong communication skills in English.
Valid driving license in Qatar.
Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or technical certifications from Gilbarco or Wayne are a plus!
