A Jebel Ali based multinational company is recruiting a Supply Chain Assistant having 5 years experience in import / export documentation, order processing and international coordination experience, preferably in a trading environment
Job Responsibilities
Prepare bank documents and export documents based on Letter of Credit (LC) requirement.
Process and handle sales orders, purchase orders, shipment advice and invoice for international customers.
Prepare purchase and sales summary, weekly reports on pending suppliers/customer orders.
Follow up with suppliers for shipping documents.
Order processing and updating the information into the system.
Check, verify and send pre-alerts to destinations.
Update local and destination customs regulations from time to time.
Prepare import/export documentation, verify supplier invoices, debit / credit notes and other relevant documents.
Communicate with international operations, vendors and other internal stakeholders.
Coordinating day-to-day activities with suppliers, customers and 3PL service providers.
Ensuring the timely process and coordination with all internal and external parties.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have 3 to 5 years of international logistics experience.
Must be proficient in MS-Office, Oracle based ERP while experience on MS Dynamics is an added advantage.
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Must possess a customer-focused attitude, team player and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
