Job Description

• Oversee and coordinate bakery operations to ensure efficient production, quality control, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Monitor production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
  

• Supervise and train bakery staff, including bakers, pastry chefs, and other team members, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
  

• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bakery processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards. Continuously evaluate and improve procedures to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
  

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies, and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment. Minimize stock shortages and control costs related to inventory management.
  

• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on bakery products, including bread, pastries, and confectionery items, to maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation. Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
  

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients, as well as cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and facilities. Conduct regular audits and implement necessary corrective measures.
  

• Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new bakery products and improve existing recipes. Participate in product trials, sensory evaluations, and market research to enhance the bakerys offerings and meet customer demands.
  

• Manage production schedules, labor allocation, and resource planning to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime. Ensure timely delivery of bakery products to retail outlets or customers, coordinating with logistics and distribution teams.
  

• Monitor and analyze bakery performance metrics, such as production output, labor productivity, waste reduction, and cost control. Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management for decision-making and continuous improvement.
  

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, effective communication, and a culture of excellence. Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and recognize outstanding performance to maintain a motivated and engaged workforce.
