Leading the sales team in meeting the sales targets for selling section steel products to clients to various markets. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The Head of Sales Sections Steel will also collaborate with other departments to enhance customer satisfaction, monitor market trends, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Key accountabilities, role and responsibilities
➢ Meet the sales targets for sections steel in various markets.
➢ Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and objectives.

➢ Lead, motivate, and manage the section steel sales team to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team targets.
➢ Provide guidance, training, and support to sales staff to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.

➢ Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve customer issues and concerns promptly.

➢ Prepare regular sales reports for management, detailing achievements, challenges, and future strategies.
➢ Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

➢ Stay updated on product specifications, features, and applications to effectively communicate with clients and address their requirements.

➢ Ensure the sales team operates within budgetary constraints while achieving targets.
➢ Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
➢ Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
➢ Stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact the organization.
➢ Collaborate with management to implement recommended process improvements, Monitor,
and track the progress of corrective actions.
➢ Ensure to get after sales feedback from customers and communicate with internal
stakeholders to improve product / service quality.
➢ Participate in quality assurance reviews to maintain audit standards.
➢ Stay current with best practices in internal auditing.
➢ All ad hoc tasks and projects designated by the reporting authority.
Essential knowledge and skills
➢ Proven experience in Sales of Light and Medium Section Steel (IPEA/AA, HEA/HEB (DIN) & H BEAM (JIS), UB/UC (BSEN), UPN / UPE (DIN) & JIS CHANNEL
➢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
➢ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
➢ Computer literacy including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,PowerPoint)
➢ Experience of using SAP systems
➢ Excellent time management; planning and organization skills
➢ Ability to create a work environment that embraces, appreciates, and fosters diversity.
➢ Reliable, efficient, and effective with high level of integrity
Desirable knowledge and skills
➢ At least 10-12 years industry’s experience
Qualifications
➢ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field Or Bachelor or Masters in Engineering in Mechanical or Metallurgy.
