· Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
· Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes for events projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client expectations and strategic goals.
· Manage financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance, to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
· Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics for events projects, identifying trends and areas for improvement to optimize profitability and mitigate risks.
· Coordinate with event planning and production teams to develop financial plans and budgets for client events, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and profitability targets.
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards, as well as internal policies and procedures, to maintain financial integrity and minimize risk exposure.
· Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance and support to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.Requirements
· Minimum 15 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position, preferably in the events industry.
· Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with specific knowledge of financial management in the events sector.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
