Job Description

• Install and deploy IBM API Connect Management Server v5.0.*. *, APIC 2018 (OpenShift) : OVA, API Connect Developer Portal v5 OVA, and IBM DataPower Gateway v7.5 OVA Virtual Appliances VMware in Linux development, stage and production environment • Exposing REST and Soap based services through DataPower including various message formats including XML, JSON • Hands on experience in encrypting, decrypting, signing, and validating signature of request/response messages in DataPower. • Hands-on experience with Gateway Script, xslt within DataPower/APIC • Define API Connect management server in Cloud Management Console, configure API Connect Developer Portal in Cloud Manager, upgrade API Connect Management Portal in development, stage, and production environment • Configure High Availability for IBM API Connect v5 and IBM Advanced Development Portal v5 in production environment • Configure IBM DataPower v7.5 high availability, workload balance, upgrade latest firmware, setup firewall and LDAP in production environment • Strong understanding of working with various DataPower services such as XML, Firewall, Web service proxy, and Multi-Protocol Gateway. Must have experience in developing XSLT, XML and XQuery • Create application, publish product and subscribe to a plan, stage a new version of the product, supersede the publish product on the staging catalog and review the result in Developer Portal • Manage developer organization, create catalog, configure Developer Portal, define user registry, activate the admin user for Developer Portal and manage user roles and permission in the Developer Portal • Approve API Product, review product availability, visibility settings, user registry, the status of product and APIs to the Staging Catalog, configure lifecycle, approval settings, create version and approve a publish product • Secure API using OAuth 2.0 provider, add catalog-specific properties to API, test a REST API, publish API to the API Connect Developer Portal, customize and deploy application • Configure IBM DataPower v7.5 high availability, workload balance, disaster recovery, upgrade latest firmware, setup firewall and SSL in pre-production and two production environments • Manually import certificate into IBM DataPower v7.5 Virtual Appliance and configure crypto key, crypto certificate, identification credentials and validate credentials object using cryptographic tools • Write documentation, build book about installation, configuration, high availability, disaster recovery, Upgrade, export, import, secure back and restore of Virtual DataPower Appliances API Connect and Advanced developer portal
