We are looking for a well-experienced Sous Chef for a client who is looking to expand their team in Dubai. Ideally, you will be a passionate and dynamic professional who takes pride in the ability to deliver extraordinary levels of guest service to guests.
You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the main / outlet kitchen with emphasis on quality, presentation within the guidelines of the standardized menus and training whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
Directs food preparation and collaborates with the Head Chef
Monitor regular standards of production to ensure the highest level of quality
Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste
Assist with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies
Oversee and supervise kitchen staff
Assist in the design of food and drink menu
Ensure HACCP standards are implemented, follow appropriate hygiene standards as per Municipality requirements at all times
Keeps station clean and compiles with food safety standards
Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve kitchen performance
Works within monthly-set food cost budget, adjust food requisition
Order food supplies
Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment
Requirements
5 years related experience including at least 2 years in the same capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong background in HACCP procedures and application
