Responsibilities: · Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for social media and video platforms that aligns with Dazed's editorial vision and audience engagement goals. · Provide visionary leadership in conceptualizing and producing compelling multimedia and video content that resonates with Dazed's audience and amplifies its brand identity. · Optimize content distribution across social media channels and multimedia platforms to maximize reach, engagement, and growth. · Work closely with editorial, design, and marketing teams to integrate multimedia and video content seamlessly into overall brand campaigns and initiatives. · Utilize analytics and insights to continually refine and enhance content strategies, ensuring content resonates with and captivates Dazed's diverse global audience. · Oversee the end-to-end production process for multimedia and video content, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. · Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in social media, multimedia, and video production to maintain Dazed's cutting-edge status and relevance. · Stay informed about emerging trends in youth culture, fashion, art and music to inform social media content strategy and maintain Dazed's relevance and influence. · Bachelor's degree in film, media production, journalism, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. · Proven experience in a senior role within social media, multimedia, and video production, ideally within a high-profile media brand or digital agency. · Strong creative vision and ability to conceptualize and execute innovative multimedia and video content that aligns with Dazed's aesthetic and brand identity. · Expertise in social media platforms, multimedia content creation, and video production techniques, with proficiency in editing software and tools.
