As a Service Advisor, you will interact directly with customers to understand their needs and provide the Service Technician Team with the necessary information to offer exceptional service.
Main Responsibilities to include:
Respond to customer inquiries, technical questions, and service maintenance contracts in-person or over the phone
Use vehicle evaluation papers to inform customers about the repair teams findings and any additional service needs
Update customer records in the system with the most recent mileage, servicing, and repairs
Provide service options and additional offerings
Prepare repair estimates and keep customers informed of charges
Provide regular updates to customers on repair progress
Create precise and detailed repair orders that identify customer concerns, know issues, and probable causes, as well as the services and repairs required
Prepare a proforma invoice for services fees
Other ad-hoc tasks as needed by the business
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Service Advisor or similar role
Proficient in using related software
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
