Job Description

We are seeking an Estimation Engineer to develop accurate cost estimates for firefighting systems within oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in evaluating project specifications, analyzing material, labor, and equipment requirements, and ensuring that estimates align with industry standards and sector-specific needs. The role also includes tasks related to tender evaluation, contract management, claim preparation, and coordination with MEP subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review preliminary and detailed cost estimates for firefighting systems in oil and gas projects
Evaluate tenders, LOIs, contract agreements, and manage post-tendering activities
Prepare and analyze periodic claims, reports, and variations
Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
Assist in feasibility studies and defining client requirements
Perform risk analysis, value management, and cost control
Advise on maintenance costs of specific projects
Coordinate with MEP subcontractors (main contractors)

Requirements

Experience in preparing and reviewing tender and contract documents including bills of quantities
Proficient in cost analysis for repair, maintenance, and feasibility studies
Skilled in risk analysis, value management, and budget control
Knowledgeable in preparing and analyzing costing for tenders
Experienced in assessing variations and preparing periodic reports and claims
Ability to coordinate with MEP subcontractors
Familiar with cost reconciliation and budgetary control
