Our client is a food distribution organization and as part of their growth we are recruiting a UAE experienced accountant to join their Dubai office.
The role responsible for the entire gambit of finance and the successful candidate must have strong experience in financialization of accounts, cash flow management, accounts receivables, credit control, payroll and financial management reporting.
Candidates must have UAE experience of finalization of accounts and month end closing, income statements, accounts payable aging reports, working capital budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling and interpreting financial data and provide insights to facilitate strategic business planning and decision-making.
Role Summary
Finalization of accounts, bank reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll, VAT submissions, working capital, cash flow and balance sheet schedule preparations, vendor payments and following up with creditors on disputes and outstanding payments.
Assist in financial and variance analysis and revenue forecasting and budgeting.
Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
Create financial policies and procedures to implement financial controls and manage risk.
Monitor expenses and implement initiatives to reduce operating costs.
Prepare the monthly payroll including overtime and commission, end of service benefits and leave balance in line with UAE Labor Laws.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
UAE experienced qualified accountant with 7 – 10 PQE and a strong progressive track record in financial and management reporting.
Strong analytical capabilities in financial planning and modelling in Excel and Tableau dashboards to create data-driven analyses.
Proficient use of Tally and QuickBooks; advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
UAE driving license is mandatory.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory
