Job Description
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including retail stores, supermarkets, hotels, and restaurants, to generate sales and promote the bakerys products. Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Present and demonstrate bakery products to customers, highlighting their features, quality, and unique selling points. Effectively communicate product benefits, pricing, and promotional offers to drive sales and meet revenue targets. Negotiate sales agreements, contracts, and pricing terms with customers, ensuring profitability and alignment with the bakerys objectives. Seek opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term customer partnerships. Provide excellent customer service and support, promptly addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests. Collaborate with internal teams, such as customer service and operations, to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing insights and recommendations to the management team for product development, pricing adjustments, and marketing strategies. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and senior management. Utilize CRM systems or sales software to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate accurate sales reports. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities, including product launches, advertising campaigns, and participation in trade shows or industry events. Provide input on marketing strategies based on customer feedback and market insights. Keep abreast of product knowledge, industry trends, and bakery production processes to address customer inquiries effectively and provide accurate information. Continuously develop selling skills through training and professional development opportunities.
