Job Description

Our client is well-established industrial and specialty gases organization and as part of their growth, we are recruiting a UAE / GCC experienced instrumentation sales engineer to join their UAE team.

 

The role is responsible for building brand awareness, customer acquisition and maximizing revenue for medical and industrial products.

 

Strong in exceeding sales targets, business development and account management with existing customers.

 

Role Summary

  • Lead generation and closing sales to meet and exceed individual sales targets.
  • Interpret customer requirements, prepare technical sales presentations, develop value driven proposals and negotiate prices.
  • Provide post-sales project implementation support.
  • Represent the organization at trade events.

 

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B business development, sales, client acquisition in biomedical, medical gases applications and instrumentation equipment.
  • Experience of working with industrial and medical gas, gas cylinders, liquid and compressed gas storage systems, cryogenic tanks, dewars, cryo-conservation rooms, compressed and vacuum air stations, gas cylinders and hyperbaric chamber gases.
  • Ability to penetrate new markets, quickly understand client requirements and explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills.
  • UAE / GCC driving license is mandatory.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Currently living in the UAE / GCC.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to listen carefully, think through issues and make recommendations based on customer pain points, cost reductions and operational improvements.
  • Ability to demonstrate genuine customer commitment and able to build long term relationships.
  • Self-starter and results focused.
