Job Description

Our client is a well-established engineering organization specializing in industrial products and services for the oil and gas; industrial, commercial, and institutional energy users; petro-chemical, renewable energy, energy storage; chemicals, steel, marine and other process industries.

 

The primary function of the role is to drive sales growth and deliver value lifecycle management service enablement and aftermarket sales.

 

Candidates with experience of operations management overseeing sales, design, installation and maintenance of industrial and manufacturing turnkey solutions will be considered for a sales manager role.

 

Role Summary

  • Lead business development activities, manage key accounts and create a sustainable pipeline of work.
  • Drive profitable growth through new opportunities, cross and upselling, market penetration and organic growth of custom engineered products and solutions.
  • Lead the preparation of high value tenders.

 

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years UAE / GCC business development and sales experience in high value, large scale industrial products and services.
  • Experience in any of the fields will be considered - pipes, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, turbo-machinery, pressure management, isolation, safety relief and control valves and regulators, safety systems, specialty pumps, rotating equipment, instrumentation, automation and measurement equipment and services, flow controls, valve actuation, compressors, solenoid and industrial and process solutions products and services to optimize the extraction, production and processing of energy.
  • Strategic thinking to develop strategies to achieve business and financial goals and drive sales growth through effective pricing strategies and effective to-to-market strategy.
  • Proven capabilities in cultivating a high-performing, engaged, ownership-mindset and agile team culture.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a good understanding of project financials and financial models.
  • UAE / GCC driving license is mandatory.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Marine Engineering

 

Candidate Profile

  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Self-starter hunter with a business mindset to offer customer-specific products and services – sales, retrofits, upgrades, process control, automation, safety and reliability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
