Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the store operation, managing daily operations and commercial aspects in the supermarket and planning the use of materials and human resources to achieve sales goals.
Maintain stock accuracy and control stock loss in the store by analysing reports (ageing, shrinkage, wastage etc.) and develop action plans.
Ensure cash control in store through the implementation of SOP for cash management
Drive sales and constantly strive to enhance business ensuring set KPI targets (such as net sales, footfall conversion, shrinkage, and stock turn) are met.
Ensure the highest levels of customer service are delivered always.
Create innovative approaches to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
Responsible for developing marketing plans to increase brand awareness and coordinating with the marketing department.
Track brand performance, reviewing stock levels and monitoring best sellers and slow-moving stock in order to generate ideas and action plans to increase overall sales.
Coach and mentor the store teams to enhance customer service levels through brand/product knowledge and overall Retail understanding.
Requirements
Bachelor’s/ Masters degree or education in Retail Management
Supermarket / Retail/HHypermarker experience/background is MANDATORY.
Strong retail experience in FMCG, Food, Non Food, with GCC experience is mandatory
Minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial role in store operations, specifically in the hypermarket, supermarket, retail business in UAE/ GCC region
In-depth knowledge of UAE governmental rules and regulations as applicable to retail business
Demonstrated track record of successfully growing a Supermarket business by developing and executing plans.
