Job Description

Our client is a well-established lifestyle brand with retail outlets across prominent Dubai malls.

We are recruiting a UAE experienced regional retail manager who will have full accountability for each store’s revenue and profitability and provide people management leadership.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years in UAE lifestyle retail management with P&L responsibility and in-depth knowledge of retail mall trends and best practices.

Role Summary

• Establish a comprehensive retail operations framework for all stores to ultimately improve customer footfall, maximize sales, control costs and enhance the brand presence to ultimately increase customer spend and profitability.
  
• Strategic product buying and pricing, product line development and inventory management.
  
• Establish visual merchandising standards and ensure adherence across all stores.
  
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize campaigns and activities to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, footfall and retention.
  
• Team leadership and development – recruit, onboard, lead and mentor retail store teams, fostering a high-performance culture; identify talent gaps, develop training programs, and build retail talent pipelines.
  
• Develop and implement retail strategies that drive store productivity and business growth through process improvement, brand development, exceptional customer experience and the right product mix and availability.
  
• Establish profitable partnerships with mall management.
  

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 10 years’ experience in retail with a minimum of 3 years in retail management in the UAE with a strong focus on operational excellence, mystery shopping, performance management and market share growth.
  
• Commercial, financial and data analysis acumen - analyze performance metrics, identify areas of improvement, and implement action plans to achieve targets.
  
• Proven team leadership experience to hire and build high performance teams to enhance customer engagement and service to increase brand engagement, revenue and profitability goals.
  
• UAE driving license is mandatory.

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live in Dubai.
  
• Fluent in English.
  
• Strong entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, results driven, resilient to challenge the status quo to achieve operational excellence.
  
• Hands on and can-do approach, able to communicate effectively and manage people remotely.
